Products out of recycled PET

There are some small projects in Bolivia, which are converting the material PET into different products.

One project irons the material PET with a manual flat-iron and puts the slices together, constructing roofs for hothouses.

Another project fills the PET bottles with sand and builds, under assistance of an architect, houses for kindergartens.

None of these small projects bring a solution for the huge amount of PET in Bolivia, but at least some sectors of the society start making something useful out of waste.
