Stakeholders and partners
The project collaborates on different levels:
- National, departmental and municipal authorities
- National and departmental Chambers of Industry
- Private enterprises (all kind of sectors)
- Associations of informal waste pickers
- Public and private educational units (schools and colleges)
The Foundation for Recycling (FUNDARE) is meant to be financially supported by funds of the private sector, by enterprises which want to accomplish with their social and environmental responsibility.
On the other hand, the waste pickers, who are living from usable items in waste, can reach a better working status as part of the collection system, by collecting bottles for the project. Last but not least the municipal budget will be relieved by each ton of waste that will be reused or recycled, instead of being disposed on the municipal landfill.
